How it works

Traces of others

Other players clear tiles and place flags on the same board as you. You'll wander into areas someone else already opened up. Their flags might be the only hint of what's nearby.

No finish line

The board is big enough that you'll never run out of fresh ground. No win screen, no final grid. Just open a new direction and keep going.

Open and play

No lobbies, no matchmaking. You open the page and you're on the board. It's been going without you, so just pick a spot and start.

Shared flags

A flag someone planted hours ago might be the only thing between you and a mine. Your cleared tiles become safe ground for the next person who wanders through.

Rival, not enemy

Compete on hourly and daily leaderboards, but nobody attacks anyone. You're all facing the same minefield, just trying to clear more of it.

The big picture

Zoom out to see how much of the board has been uncovered. Zoom back in to your corner and keep digging. Every tile you clear stays cleared.

How to play

1

Click to reveal

Click any unrevealed tile to open it. If all neighboring mines are already flagged, clicking a number opens all its neighbors at once.

C
If you open a mine the cell is revealed and you'll get a penalty. You and other players can still use the numbers around it.
2

Read the numbers

Each number shows how many mines are hidden in the 8 surrounding tiles. A 1 means exactly one mine is nearby — use logic to work out which tile it is before you click.

3

Flag the mines

Mark tiles you're confident contain mines. Right-click an unrevealed tile to flag it directly, or click a number once all its surrounding cells are identified.

Leave your mark

Every tile you clear stays on the shared map permanently. Your cleared ground becomes someone else's starting point, and the flags you plant warn players who haven't been here yet.
